Sports & Extra-curriculars Rejuvenating the students to participate in sports & games and conducting various activities at the campus to inculcate and develop the creative skills in the students. Various cultural programmes are also organized in the institute. The Institute provides facility for games like Table Tennis, Badminton, Basket Ball, Carrom, Chess etc. to the students. Cultural activities like dramatics, music and other arts are encouraged within the Institute.		besides, Foundation Day is celebrated every year in the month of February which provides the MSM students an opportunity to turn thespian in a rollicking musical comedy, spoof of Professors, classes and MSM life in general. It is an event every MSMian looks forward to every year.

Personality Development
Personality Development Programmes have been designed to enable the students to moderate their weaknesses and strengthen their hidden talents. Special classes for Personality development are arranged and through group discussions, role-plays, extempore debates, an attempt is made to develop their communication and social skills which are integral part of fast changing corporate world designed to equip the students to make rigorous, analytically grounded business decision.

Guest Speaker Series

Besides formal lectures, frequent seminars and workshops, the school is opportune to have guest lecture series which provoke the intellectuals, the faculty members and the students of respond to the ever increasing crucialities and complexities of the corporate world. MSM, through its widely acclaimed network is able to rope in eminent personalities for its’ guest lecture series. Research at MSM
MSM is involved in research with industry and government promoting an active and interchange of ideas and information with organizations from both public and private sector. Research is based on the academic rigours of a variety of disciplines that feed into organization and management studies. It is also based on the pragmatic needs of contemporary executives, managers and organizations. MSM maintains its commitment to the latest research through its linkages in the industry. MSM plays a key role in developing the link between theory and practice in management through the breadth of its teaching programs, student body and its ongoing work with practicing executives and managers.

Business Plan, Paper Presentation & Quiz
A man to carry a successful business must have imaginations to see things in a vision. Imaginations, leading to innovation and team work brush shoulders in developing and presenting Business Plans that are a regular feature at MSM. Small groups enacting budding entrepreneurs work as a team to give shape to innovative ideas. Regular interaction between student groups and faculty in search of excellence are a forte of this exercise. Integration of theoretical aspects of various functional areas of management and an innovative idea, which is a result of a brainstorming session, ignites life into a business plan. Legitimate recognition in the form of Best Business Plan award inculcates a sense of pride and self-satisfaction among student managers.

Quizzing is an activity that intermingle academics with fun. Accounting Quiz and IT Quiz are regular features in the academic calendar. Quiz enhances the receptivity resulting in improved knowledge quotient of the students as they need to keep the doors of their mind open, which is aptly proved by the words ‘whenever smart people works, doors are unlocked’. Winners of in-house quiz competition are rewarded with the privilege of representing the Institute at the national level quiz competitions.

Paper presentation in various management topics are the order of the day at MSM. Recently, the crowning of Mr. Kunal Srivastava, a IInd Year student of 2006-2008 batch, with the Best Paper Presentation Award at National Convention of All India Management Schools held at IIM-Calcutta is a feather in the cap of MSM and personifies commitment of the Institute in the development in this field.

Celebrations
MSM is a reflection of Unity in Diversity. Management aspirants from all over the country flock in here at MSM. Hence, the celebrations follow. The range varies from Independence Day celebration to the mega event of Durga Puja. A wide mixture of social, cultural and religious functions is in the offing. Few of the functions that we celebrate at the Institute include Independence Day, Republic Day, Teachers’ Day, Christmas Day, Durga Puja, Laxmi Puja, Diwali, Ganesh Puja, Eid and Iftar Party, Freshers’ Party, Felicitation programs and many more. A dazzling cracker show on the diwali night send shivers down the spine. MSM through its celebrations ensure that students feel at home during the festive season. As responsibility to put up the show is bestowed upon the students, it helps in developing various managerial skills and inculcates a sense of responsibility sharing and team work.

The Alumni Association at MSM is another strength of our management and students as they are constant source of inspiration to them. All MSMians have been well acceptred by the industry and their positive feedback reconfirms the faith in our system.

The Alumni Association of MSM organizes annual get-together where the alumni interact with the existing batches and contribute in updating the students' knowledge of recent business scenario.

It is also actively involved with the Career Development Cell in its endeavour to provide suitable training and placement opportunities to students. Alumni also get benefitted by getting updated with the latest trends in business education.
